Rick Benninghove was an excellent host and this unit was simply fantastic. Very clean and beautifully appointed, a modern and well considered remodeling had us hardly wanting to hit the beach the first couple of days. Much appreciation to the property owner for offering such a wonderful home. Our family greatly appreciated the trust placed in guests and we will definitely be back. Thank you both so much!

Your Review: Our stay at Beachplace was just wonderful. The apartment was clean, well appointed and spacious . The location was perfect for both a relaxing day at the pool/beach or to explore further afield.
We had one issue with the A/C, but it was resolved quickly and efficiently by Rick who organized the repair company and kept us informed.
We would definitely stay again.

This was our 3rd year to stay in BP-3-205 and for us it is one of the best.
We have always arrived late at night due to our flight schedule but Rick Benninghove has sent in advance all the information we need from arriving at the 24 hour guard gate to the guard opening the building door to allow us to go to condo. All explained by Rick.
Opening the condo door to a spacious 3 bedroom extremely clean and all furniture well maintained. Comfortable beds and all nice size rooms. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking including good grills and a Blackstone.
The Beachplace grounds are awesome ...well trimmed and maintained. A beautiful view from the balcony with a side view of the Gulf. The pool is the best ever with lanes for swimming laps, covered kids pool and adult hot tub. All very clean and managed.
The Clubhouse is another plus with a really good fitness center.
All very short walk to both beach and pool with umbrellas and chairs on the beach for you. Especially nice not to carry them to the beach. Just walk or sit and watch all the dolphins playing in front of you.
We have always booked thru Rick and we know if there is a question or problem, he answers promptly and takes care of it.

House is tastefully remodeled, and decorated, you won’t be disappointed! Beds are comfy with cozy linens. Beach, and shops/restaurants are very walkable, as described in the listing. We really loved the integrated sound system and used it the entire time!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back in the near future!

2 bedroom + Den and 3 bathrooms with views of the Beach of Longboat Key. Prestigious entrance to the Pierre through the lobby with a concierge doorman to great your guests as they arrive to visit. This unit offers 2 balconies to relax on and enjoy the view of the sunset or calm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Should the rental be canceled at least 90 days in advance of the arrival date, a full refund will be given. If the rental is canceled for any reason 89 – 61 days prior to arrival the 30% of Rental Revenue will be forfeited. If the rental is canceled 60 to 30 days prior to arrival, 50% of rental revenue will be forfeited and 29 to 0 days, 100% of rental revenue will be forfeited. Registration fee is non-refundable.
Deposit Policy
An advance deposit of 30% is required at the time of confirmation.
My family spent December 2024 at Beachplace in Longboat Key. The place was great. Bravo to the team at Beachplace for repairing the damage from the two recent hurricanes. Many of the other buildings on the Key were not so lucky.
The unit was recently updated and very well appointed. Our stay was wonderful. I would highly recommend Rick and his team at Florida Gulf Coast Vacation Rentals.
Lido Bliss was the perfect place for a girls getaway. We had the best time at this gorgeous home! There are beautiful views of the ocean and the city, easy access to the Beach Club across the street, every amenity you can think of, plus easy walkability to St. Armand's Circle. Perfection! We had the best, most relaxing time and are so happy to have stayed there. Thank you
I can't say enough wonderful things about this property! If I have to pick my favorite aspect of this AirBnb, it would have to be location. Only a block from Saint Armands Circle with all the restaurants, shopping and ice cream minutes from your front door. Walk from your front door in the other direction and you are on beautiful Lido beach. Another direction and you can kayak the mangrove tunnels. Quick drive over the bridge and you have a centralized location for Downtown Sarasota or pop over to Bradenton, Siesta Key and even Venice for dinner. This introvert/indoor family only spent our time outdoors and walking around the beautiful island. The house and property are the perfect size for a family vacation with children. Not too big to get overwhelmed with keeping tidy, but definitely not small and everyone has space. Hosts provided everything we needed for the household and plenty of equipment to take to the beach or on a quick bike ride! We are already making plans to make this our "summer spot" for years to come!!
